A Journey Beyond the Ordinary:
This is unique journey in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where The Big Island’s spaciousness invites you to slow down, become still and listen once again to what wants to awaken within you. For 17 years, Hawaii has blessed and provided me a place of profound change, insight, and transformation. A place where something opens up beyond words and expectations and from this connection, Ocean Quest was born. I’m pleased to invite men, women and couples who wish not merely to observe, but to truly connect with the spirit of Hawaii… one that transforms, informs, and inspires.

Hawaii a Place Between Worlds:
Hawaii is deeply rooted in an ancient, matriarchal culture where humans, nature, and spirit are connected in a truly conscious way. It is a place where the veil between the visible and invisible worlds is often thin and where the song of your soul can tangibly unfold back to your deepest origins. And underneath it all, we tap into and are supported by the indigenous Hawaiian mana.

The Essence of This Journey:
Between lava and ocean, stillness and motion, vastness and primal power, a space emerges…one that touches the soul and sets things in motion.The ocean acts as an ever present mirror that’s transparent, direct and unfiltered. And it’s here that you begin to remember, not only who you already know, but who you’ve yet to become.

The Experience:
Our days are inspired by the rhythm of nature, rather than by a rigid schedule. We spend our days swimming, diving, floating and simply “feeling” the ocean. Other days include snorkeling and kayaking with whales, mantas and dolphins in special and little known coastal regions. Hiking to Hawaii’s “power spots” including the world’s tallest mountain which are both pristine and vibrantly alive is part of our sacred journey. Ultimately, our days wind down in the light of the ocean’s sunset just a few steps from our beach house.

In Sacred Circle:
Sharing circles for integration and reflection enhanced by gentle Body-Mind practices and “BlissDance” impulses happens most days. Here, whatever has been set in motion is given the space to settle. It is a space where listening is just as valuable as speaking, and where our differences foster connection rather than separation. 

The Location: 
Our living space is a private retreat house at Kealakekua Bay. It’s a cosy, family style house near Manini Beach with a tranquil, peaceful and spacious tropical garden setting.

Recommendations:
I recommend arriving at least two days prior to the start of the seminar to allow time for acclimatization. The guest house is also available for use before and after the retreat.

Costs:
Details regarding the actual costs will be shared during a personal conversation as it’s important to me that this journey is truly the right fit for you.

What’s Included: 
Accommodations, seminar facilitation, program leadership, kayaks, swim guidance, water safety and National Park entrance fees. Assistance with travel arrangements and airport shuttle is available upon request. Flights must be booked at your own expense..
